The Residency Education and Preparation program is designed to enhance the chances of graduates from international medical schools (IMGs) to obtain a residency position in the US. The program is an opportunity for IMGs to access basic and clinical sciences medical education and expertise at the American University of Antigua (AUA). Passing USMLE Step-1 will help applicants to attend the Basic Sciences Integration Course (BSIC) and have access to all study and preparatory materials available at AUA. After passing USMLE Step-1 students will directly enter the clinical component of the program. This includes clinical experience at US teaching hospitals, individual advisement regarding residency application and access to extensive preparation material/courses for USMLE Step-2 CS and CK. While attending BSIC, students will live in housing arranged by Grenville Realty.
